Rain in Summer

Image
It’s been a while since the last blog post I made, writing this while in the rhythm of the falling rains. It is summer season here in the Philippines, we started to feel the heat during the month of March. Summer but raining, I know right? Today is Sunday and the rain is still pouring  yesterday. It hasn’t stopped yet.  Before the rain happened, it was very, very hot, well, I don’t know if you guys can feel it too. Let me know if you have the same feeling. But still, I am very thankful that of rains because it gives us a cold environment, taking a pause from the heat, especially that we are  weekend days. The sky is gray, Mr. Sun is not showing and no heavy winds.  To be honest, my perspective of being productive was changed or let’s say updated. I used to describe it by accomplishing major tasks; going outside to buy something, cleaning, cooking, washing clothes and etc. But now, it has been two days today, I did nothing of those mentioned tasks. I haven’t taken a shower yet, honest t

Anda, Bohol

Image
Summer 2018 is here, are you ready? Be ready, pack things and head to Anda, Bohol. It is one of the best beaches in the province of Bohol.  Its location is a bit far from the notable municipalities, it's about 2-3 hours away from Tagbilaran. The place is known for their tagline " magAnda,"  a tagalog word which means in English " BEAUTIFUL ". Together with my Adriann and his friends, we visited the place and stayed for 1 night at R&S Seaside Unit Accommodation Bar & Restaurant. We arrived safely Anda at night, I think 5:30 - 6: 00 pm. It was a long drive way from Tagbilaran City but before Anda, we had our Bohol land tour first in the morning. Tiring wasn't it? Our accommodation is a 3-min walk to the Quinale Beach and accessible to public market and stores. They also have restaurant but it is in the separate building or let say to the other block. In front of their resto is Coco Loco, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I recommend you t

Camotes Islands Trip

Image
2017 was a year full of travels with friends, family and the love of my life. This year, I got a chance to travel again. Due to hectic schedule I haven't prepared our itinerary. I did some research where to go and it led me to go to Camotes Islands, specifically the town of San Francisco . Actually, I have been there already, I think it was a year ago. It was just a one day travel and had an overnight camping at Santiago Bay. This is my second time visiting the island and I still love how it is now.  The beach in Santiago is still open for public, glad that it wasn't acquired yet.  Unlike with some known islands, some  struggling with a sewerage problem, some became crowded and polluted.  Camotes is still a fresh, beautiful and amazing island. An island worth to visit. So, here are the highlights of our trip in Camotes Islands. 1. Caving Paraiso Cave      Note:  Entrace fee is 40.00 each.      Timubo Cave       Note:  Before the main spot it has

The Memorable Beauty of Siargao

Image
Siargao is known as the Philippines's surfing capital. It is situated in the eastern part of Northern Mindanao's Surigao Del Norte. Aside of being famous to surfing, there are so much more precious things about the island of Siargao that made it like no other. A place to treasure and a  must-see in the Philippines. Siargao is utterly beautiful. The locals are very friendly. You can vibe with them everyday, all day long. Different kind of nationalities stayed long in the island for vacation. Some have left their lives and totally relocated in. There are a lot of inexpensive and luxurious accommodations, delectable food to eat and things to do. In addition to surf spots, there are Sugba Lagoon, Magpupungko Beach and Natural Pool, and some neighboring islands that have white sand and luminous water. Siargao is just so amazing. My friends and I spent only 4 days and 3 nights, and here are the memorable parts of the whole trip. Only in beautiful Siargao! Cloud 9

How Travel Changed My Life

Image
What sort of traveller would you say you are? A person who ventures due to a broken heart or just trinkets and happily making a new place has to offer? These days, travel is the most talked expression of the society and has completely changed the souls of everybody.  I am a dreamer. A dreamer of so many things since the day my way of thinking is maturing. When I was in my primary years I wanted to become a nurse. During secondary years, I aimed to graduate and study in a precious university for my college. Tertiary, I wanted to graduate with honours and find a stable job so that I could give back help to my family.  What am I today? I am currently working as a software developer, a travel and lifestyle blogger, and an explorer. To travel wasn't really in my passion before, not until I met new friends. They were the one who became my second family, food and travel buddies. That was during college days, our first best summer trip was happened at Coco Palms Resort, Danao,

An Awful Travel With Trans-Asia Shipping Lines

Image
Long weekend is over and it's time to go back in the city for work, school and other obligations. I was on a one-night ship ride to get from Ozamiz to Cebu City, the ship is named Trans-Asia and the trip was awful. Usually, I spent my long-weekend vacations, like Holy week and Christmas, in my province and planned it ahead of time. I bought tickets, back n' fort, for transportation like one month or three weeks before the departure date because it will easily get sold-out. I bought tickets in Trans Asia because it was accessible on the dates that I wanted to depart and they do have 10% discounts if you have PAG-IBIG loyalty card. I have heard a lot of bad issues about Trans Asia's ship that is bound to Ozamiz to Cebu, vice versa. But I don't believe any of those, I just let it pass in my other ear because many of my past trips with them were okay. April 17, 2017, an awful trip ever.  We departed from Ozamiz on time, exactly 8:00pm, and expected to arrive in

Boracay Travel 2017

Image
It has proven by a lot of people that Boracay is one of the best beaches found in the Philippines. It is very known to its sand's texture, fresh air, parties, fun activities and more. Yes, without a doubt Boracay, now, is a smidgen swarmed but I think it would be occasional. Here are the details of our travel from Cebu to Boracay: Getting to Boracay: From SM Cebu City, ride MyBus to Mactan International Airport and it cost 25.00/person. By an airplane, we had the last flight which was 11:40 pm and arrived at Kalibo International Airport at 12:45 am. When in Kalibo International Airport, ride a van going to Jetty Port and the fee is 200.00/person. Travel time is 1.5 - 2 hours.  In our case, we were just 6 passengers with the same trip to Jetty Port. The driver couldn't find other passengers, so he asked for 1,400.00/special trip  in order for us to travel right away. At Jetty Port, ride a boat going to Cagban Port, Boracay Island. Fees: environmental fee -  75.00
