Rain in Summer

Image
It’s been a while since the last blog post I made, writing this while in the rhythm of the falling rains. It is summer season here in the Philippines, we started to feel the heat during the month of March. Summer but raining, I know right? Today is Sunday and the rain is still pouring  yesterday. It hasn’t stopped yet.  Before the rain happened, it was very, very hot, well, I don’t know if you guys can feel it too. Let me know if you have the same feeling. But still, I am very thankful that of rains because it gives us a cold environment, taking a pause from the heat, especially that we are  weekend days. The sky is gray, Mr. Sun is not showing and no heavy winds.  To be honest, my perspective of being productive was changed or let’s say updated. I used to describe it by accomplishing major tasks; going outside to buy something, cleaning, cooking, washing clothes and etc. But now, it has been two days today, I did nothing of those mentioned tasks. I haven’t taken a s...

How To Live One Day in My Life

Image
My belief is to have a balanced personal and work life every day. You too, right?    Since the pandemic, I usually get up around 7-8 in the morning . The first thing I do is to look over my phone for updates, but it would not be work related stuff. I then cook breakfast. After cooking , I go for a bath then skin care routine . E at some breakfast I just prepared while watching videos or news then wash the dishes. I make sure that everything is clean before I start my work.    Once everything is settled, I would go on opening my work-laptop, check for emails and messages and respond to it, if needed. Jot down all the tasks done yesterday and for the current day, making sure to be on track . Start doing things that need to be covered for the day, that would include training while on bench.    When it is 11:30am, I would prepare for lunch and be back for work at 1pm or before. To distress myself around 4pm, I started to prepare myself for a 30-min walk...

Without the use of actual painting materials, pen, paper etc, I'm still able to produce this art above in a techie way. Overall, the output is just a combination of images coming from google using Photoshop :)

Jump Rope Workout Story

Image
When was the last time you jumped rope? Did you know that jump rope exercise is one of the many ways that help burn your calories?  Going to gym or yoga which are common to everybody are proven effective enough if it's done constantly and properly, it is quite expensive.  I read some articles and videos about jumping rope, it helps cardiovascular fitness while toning muscles. It is good for the heart. If you are heart broken just do jump rope, just kidding. First quarter of 2020, the world's going crazy because of this corona virus. Everybody is on lockdown or home quarantined, while on it, i found this new way of exercise which is cheap and portable. You probably doesn't know that I'm a fan of Elen Adarna, I followed her in Instagram and I always see her stories, like every time I open my account. She always has this story doing jumping rope exercise and that made me do it also. Aside from being bored at home, I realized that I'm not having sweats anymore, unlike w...

The Highlights of My Year 2019

Image
A new year is about to start and we have nothing to do with but welcome it with open arms. We have this year that we are gently closing, leaving behind those great memories. A year full of different and amazing experiences. We met a lot of people who became part of our-lives to make this year a fulfillment one or the other way around. And learning from the reality has become the biggest lesson we've got and because of it, we are making every single action to outcome it better. I always thought that this day would come. I mean, we all knew that a new year will always come. I would like to say, "Goodbye 2019, Hello 2020!".  But before anything else, I am writing this content to share with you what were my challenges and experiences during the year of 2019.  I was like a soldier entering 2019 without a weapon. I started the year without a stable job hoping to have a new beginning to somewhere else. While waiting for the papers to be okay, I worked as a freelance s...

How I Spent Holy Week Break

Image
Most Filipinos are from a family where most are Catholics. One of the traditions that is being celebrated every year is the Holy Week. It is a very sacred time to recollect the last of Jesus' life. The time of taking reflections of the sacrifices Jesus has done to mankind. It is also the best time to examine our personal live, especially our deeds. Holy week is celebrated in different ways. Some spend time with their families, travel internationally or locally, etc. How did you spend yours? Like everyone else, I always look forward for the Holy Week to go home in the province and do everything different from the daily routine in the city. These are the things that I did during the Holy Week: 1. Sleeping That day when we arrived in the province, my body was in hibernate mode. From an overnight travel I already slept like almost 10 hours.  Then when I got home, I slept again, after lunch and dinner I slept. You can call me now the sleeping beauty but I don't have beaut...

Anda, Bohol

Image
Summer 2018 is here, are you ready? Be ready, pack things and head to Anda, Bohol. It is one of the best beaches in the province of Bohol.  Its location is a bit far from the notable municipalities, it's about 2-3 hours away from Tagbilaran. The place is known for their tagline " magAnda,"  a tagalog word which means in English " BEAUTIFUL ". Together with my Adriann and his friends, we visited the place and stayed for 1 night at R&S Seaside Unit Accommodation Bar & Restaurant. We arrived safely Anda at night, I think 5:30 - 6: 00 pm. It was a long drive way from Tagbilaran City but before Anda, we had our Bohol land tour first in the morning. Tiring wasn't it? Our accommodation is a 3-min walk to the Quinale Beach and accessible to public market and stores. They also have restaurant but it is in the separate building or let say to the other block. In front of their resto is Coco Loco, they serve breakfast, lunch and dinner. I recommend you t...

Camotes Islands Trip

Image
2017 was a year full of travels with friends, family and the love of my life. This year, I got a chance to travel again. Due to hectic schedule I haven't prepared our itinerary. I did some research where to go and it led me to go to Camotes Islands, specifically the town of San Francisco . Actually, I have been there already, I think it was a year ago. It was just a one day travel and had an overnight camping at Santiago Bay. This is my second time visiting the island and I still love how it is now.  The beach in Santiago is still open for public, glad that it wasn't acquired yet.  Unlike with some known islands, some  struggling with a sewerage problem, some became crowded and polluted.  Camotes is still a fresh, beautiful and amazing island. An island worth to visit. So, here are the highlights of our trip in Camotes Islands. 1. Caving Paraiso Cave      Note:  Entrace fee is 40.00 each.      Timubo Cav...
